Prof. Chang Chungfu, Chengchi University
Chang Chung-fu is the associate professor of Department of Ethnology at National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan. He is the former chair of department and former secretary in chief of Taiwan Society for Anthropology and Ethnology (TSAE). His interests include ethnohistory and socio-cultural ethnography of Hui Muslims in Northwest China. During the past two decades, his field works concentrated in the provinces of Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia. He is now working on the studies of Islamic plural sectarianism, local cultural changes and ethnic identity of Hui Muslims in eastern Qinghai, Lanzhou city as well as Lingxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu.
